- __More Human Than Human__ - requires Seasoned, Cybernetics. You negate all Charisma loss from now cleverly-disguised cybernetic implants (but you lose +1 Toughness if you had Cyborg); instead, you gain +1 Charisma due to cosmetic surgery perfecting your appearance. This gives you a net of +1 Toughness, +1 Charisma.

They are able to operate modern vehicles, which have reasonably standardized controls. Nearly everyone speaks English, either as a first or second language.
__Driving__ - covers both ground and hover vehicles. Note that most vehicles have autopilots for traveling between nav points, but you need Driving for manual control and evasive maneuvers.

Additions:
__Programmer__ - you gain +2 to Computers and Hacking rolls and Knowledge rolls involving computers or AIs.
__Different__ - Minor. You have cosmetic implants of some kind that have no gameplay impact but make you look different than the human norm, such as cat ears and tail, glowing eyes, LCD tattoos, et cetera. Some NPCs will react negatively. If you have the Cybernetics Edge, you may not claim Different for additional advances, but you can still include cosmetic implants for free.
__Replicant__ - Major. You are either an android or clone programmed to emulate a human. If caught, you will be destroyed, though you may have the opportunity to escape before the sentence is carried out.
Deletions:

Additions:
__Hacking__ - disarm cybernetic security systems. This is discussed in more details in Av2Hacking.
__Knowledge__ - examples of modern subjects include AIs, Bureaucracy, Cybernetics, Modern Law, or Weird Science.
- Av2Cybernetics describes more Cybernetics edges that you can take, since this will be a lengthy list.
- __Cyborg__ - requires Cybernetics. Your body has been heavily re-engineered; choose one attribute and increase that die type by two, or increase two attributes by one apiece - if you go over d12, it becomes d12+1, d12+2, etc. You also gain +2 Toughness but an additional -1 to Charisma (-2 total). You become vulnerable to electrical damage (double damage).
__AI__ - Minor, requires Smarts be d8 or less. Your character is an AI of some sort and may not understand humans very well. Any time you are asked a question that cannot be answered with a simple yes/no, or given an order that requires more than a single action to perform, you must roll Smarts against a target of 4 to determine whether you understood it. Others may use their Computers skill to better phrase these, giving you a cooperative skill bonus. Smarter AIs do not have this Hindrance.

Additions:
__Vehicle Operation__ - driving modern vehicles and operating mounted weapons under combat conditions. Replaces Driving and Piloting.
__Computers__ - replaces Investigation. You are adept at using search engines and intelligent agents to uncover clues in the net. You can also better direct AIs and robots to perform complex operations with better tolerance of unforeseen circumstances.
__Programmer__ - you gain +2 to Computers and Hacking rolls.
__Cyberdoc__ - requires d6 Repair and d8 Medicine. Reflects the specialized skills needed to install and fix cyberware, given access to appropriate equipment. You can jury rig a broken cybernetic device to get it back in working order. Success against a target of 4 causes it to be "jury rigged" (-2), each Raise reduces this penalty by 1 to a maximum of +0.
Deletions:
====Strength-based Skills====
__Intimidate__ - now linked to Strength; you may use your physical presence to cow or bully others. Feats of strength or displays of fighting prowess allow Strength, Fighting, or Shooting to be used as cooperative rolls.
__Vehicle Operation__ - driving modern vehicles and operating mounted weapons under combat conditions. This replaces Driving and Piloting. Edges which affect Driving and Piloting now affect Vehicle Operation.
__Argument__ - use logic or spurious reasoning to convince someone to follow your direction. Effective against AIs, but -2 vs humans.
__Data Mining__ - replaces Investigation. You are adept at using search engines and intelligent agents to uncover clues in the net. You can also better direct AIs and robots to perform complex operations with better tolerance of unforeseen circumstances.
__Repair__ - in addition to repairing mechanical and electronic devices, you can also jury-rig cybernetic devices that are temporarily disabled to get them working at -2 to related rolls until they can be fully repaired. If you have the Cyberdoc Edge, you may roll Medicine as a cooperative roll. Raises allow you to reduce the penalty by 1 per raise.
__Taunt__ - insults may lead your opponents to make mistakes in battle. Effective against humans, but -2 vs AIs.
====Spirit-based Skills====
__Persuasion__ - use emotional manipulation and charisma to convince someone to follow your direction. Effective against humans, but -2 vs AIs.
__Programmer__ - you gain +2 to Data Mining and Hacking rolls.
__Hardwired__ - you may install up to half your spirit in cyberware systemsi.e. at d6 spirit you could install 3 systems without penalty; you may also directly connect to any neural connection-capable hardware by plugging in, giving you a +2 bonus to hacking rolls and allowing you to perform "hands free" vehicle operation (but still subject to -2 multi-action penalty). Attempting to install devices beyond this limit inflicts -1 to Charisma for each additional device, and places you at risk of going "cyberpsycho" when under stress.
- Av2Cybernetics - for further description of cybernetic devices
__Cyborg__ - you may choose N$5000 of cybernetic devices to have pre-installed, and you can generally afford up to N$2500 in repairs per month. The above limit on devices still applies.
__Military Cyborg__ - requires Cyborg. Your baseline cybernetic devices are armored (toughness 16 vs physical damage) and EMP-shielded (toughness 10 vs electrical damage). Purchasing military-spec cybernetics costs double the normal price.
__Cyberdoc__ - requires d8 Medicine. Reflects the specialized skills needed to install cyberware, given access to appropriate equipment. Surgery requires recovery time, during which the character operates at reduced effectiveness, depending on how significant the change is. When using Repair to fix a broken cybernetic device, allows you to use Medicine as a cooperative roll.

__Cyberdoc__: requires d8 Medicine.

Additional edges not present in Test Drive:
Hardwired: you may install up to half your spirit in cyberware systemsi.e. at d6 spirit you could install 3 systems without penalty; you may also directly connect to any neural connection-capable hardware by plugging in, giving you a +2 bonus to hacking rolls and allowing you to perform "hands free" vehicle operation (but still subject to -2 multi-action penalty). Attempting to install devices beyond this limit inflicts -1 to Charisma for each additional device, and places you at risk of going "cyberpsycho" when under stress.

===Cybernetic Devices===
Besides taking the Cyborg edge, you may also purchase cybernetic devices with your starting funds, funds you acquire during the game, or install cybernetic devices that you find or steal. In-game surgery leaves you weakened (-2 to all trait rolls) for a recovery time as follows:
{{table columns="3" cellpadding="1" cells="Grade;Cost;Recovery Time;A;N$200;1 hour;B;N$400;4 hours;C;N$1000;1 day;D;N$2000;2 days;E;N$5000;4 days;F;N$100,000;2 weeks"}}
You are limited to half your spirit die type in cybernetic systems, i.e. d6 spirit would let you implant three separate systems. However, each system may include one or more basic device plus modifications to the device, i.e. you might purchase a cybernetic arm, then install mods on that arm like an implanted gun, and it would still count as one "system".
External cyberware such as artificial limbs can be damaged by physical attacks. They have a Toughness of 10. Taking one wound deactivates them, requiring an engineer to fix but no additional parts. Taking two wounds severely damages or even destroys the cybernetic device, requiring a proportional amount of money to purchase replacement parts.
Electrical attacks directed against the character have a chance to temporarily shut down cyberware. They have a Toughness of 6 against electrical damage; if the character takes damage in excess of this, all cybernetic devices shut down and must be rebooted. The character may reboot one device per combat round, if he makes a Spirit roll against a target number of 4. Raises allow the character to reboot additional devices. Each Botch either shuts down any device that had been rebooted successfully or if none had been, the character becomes Shaken.

Where devices can draw power (using "power points"), you should assume each device has an individual battery sufficient to provide one shot, unless otherwise stated in its description. You can purchase additional battery capacity for any device at 50% of its original cost, doubling its normal storage capacity, but they do not recharge by themselves without a separate power source.
You may purchase an Internal Power Source (20 power points, recharges 1 per round) as a Class D system, or a Military Power Source (50 power points, recharges 2 per round) as a Class E system. You can also purchase a Power Adapter (class B) for either or as a standalone system, which allows you to recharge your devices or refill your power source from a normal electrical outlet at the rate of 2 power points per round.
