Gear

You begin with N$2500 to purchase your starting gear. Note that you may have access to additional equipment, vehicles, or resources from jobs or if you trade favors with influential persons.

Computers

Computer - N$50-200 depending on how feature laden it is. Cheaper models have flatscreens that are simple sheets of plastic which can be attached to the wall, desk surface, or stand freely at a comfortable viewing angle. Expensive ones have holographic displays. Most support voice, keyboard, trackball, and VR glove interfaces. For hacking purposes, counts as a Green 4 system, but Neural Jacks are available only on the higher end models (N$100 or more).
G-Logic Basic - N$50, 2 lbs. Available with plastic slipcovers in many eye-catching designs, these computers are the size of a paperback book. They get the job done but come with so much 'easy to use' software and "idiot-proofing" in the OS that hackers will be at -1 to Hack when using a G-Logic, on top of -2 if they're forced to use the keyboard instead of a Wireless interface, since they lack neural jacks. *
Crystal Ball MK IV - N$100, 5 lbs. The actual computer is built into the solid metal base of the holo display unit, which emits an 18" diameter display sphere. Very durable and capable, and supports a VR glove interface. No hacking penalty. Neural jack available.
Dantech Prism 2070 - N$200, 200 lbs. This looks like a solid slab of marble about the size of a thick hardbound dictionary with a black inset holoprojector. The base vacuum-locks to a flat surface unless overridden by a security code. Supports a 24" holographic display with VR glove interface and neural jack interface. Includes Armor ICE: +1 Armor vs Hacks, but -1 to Hacking attempts.

* NOTE: G-Logic computers are very easy to use for unskilled users. When doing a query on one, a user without the 'Computers' skill rolls d4-1 instead of d4-2. This only applies for Computers, not for Hacking, and someone with d4 Computers will still be at d4-1 when using a G-Logic computer.

Cyberdeck - used by hackers to infiltrate target computers. They are meant to be operated by neural jacks, but most systems also provide a holographic display, keyboard and VR glove interface as a backup. Cyberdecks provide a wide array of tools which are usually dedicated toward protecting the hacker from being traced back and repelling enemy intrusion attempts, but in a pinch, can be committed to a full-out invasive probe of the target system. See Av2Hacking for more details.

Green systems cannot roll a d6 Wild Die or have "exploding" rolls and are used by most commercial enterprises.
Pyramidtech Wisdom-1 - N$100, 5 lbs. A Green 4 cyberdeck, looks like the lower half of a pyramid, enclosing a holographic projector. An entry-level system, but it does offer the standard neural jack, "pop-up" holographic keyboard, and VR glove interface.
Dantech Hyperprism 2170 - N$400, 10 lbs. A Green 6 cyberdeck with Armor ICE built in the form of solid block of marble with a black inset holoprojector, vacuum-locks to a flat surface. This kind of computer is used for secure computing, not for hacking other computers; extra firewalls and encryption prevent others from being able to hack it easily but also slow down the user's access to external systems. (3 tokens, 1 Armor vs hacks, -1 to Hack rolls)
Crystal Ball MK VIII - N$1600, 15 lbs. Similar to the MK IV in design but a 1' tall column of silvery metal instead of a flat base, with a 24" diameter display sphere on top. While still a Green 10 computer, it has only 4 tokens of security protection - instead it has an array of parallel processors that greatly speeds up cracking encryption which gives +1 to Hack rolls.
Red systems can do both and are usually found only in military and high-end government and corporate installations. Usually costs five times what the normal computer would.
G-Logic Pro - N$400, 5 lbs. The size of a large dictionary, this computer can be equipped with a number of designer slipcovers. While it does support a neural jack interface and is rated as a Red 4 system, it retains the "easy to use" interface and idiot-proofing that gives -1 to Hack rolls.
Pyramidtech Wisdom-2 - N$500, 8 lbs. A Red 4 cyberdeck, this looks like a full pyramid with four holographic projector emitters on the edges. Like the Wisdom-1, it offers a neural jack, "pop-up" holographic keyboard, and VR glove interface, but it has a more powerful CPU and a full suite of security and intrusion software.
Crystal Ball MK X - N$2000, 18 lbs. A 1' tall column of silvery metal like the Crystal Ball MK VIII, but ringed by an additional 3" diameter of black metal around the base. A Red 6 cyberdeck, it includes a Quantum Probe, giving it 2 tokens of security but +1 to Hacking rolls. The choice of security experts around the world!
Dantech Quasiprism 2270 - N$4000, 20 lbs. This top of the line computer comes as the surface of a solid oak desk and makes a magnificent set piece for an executive office. Used by most institutions for storing their critical data. It counts as a Red 8 system with Armor ICE, giving it 4 tokens of protection, +1 Armor vs Hacks, but -1 to Hacking if it were to be used as a cyberdeck.
Dantech Q-Core I - military. Even the smallest Dantech quantum core is easily out of reach of most hackers. It's a solid block of black metal the size of a refrigerator, with immense power requirements. For security purposes it counts as a Red 8 system with 4 tokens of health, 1 Armor vs Hacks, and +1 to Hacking due to its ability to crack encryption with ridiculous ease.

Holotank - N$100. A large surface for projecting holographic displays, about the size of a coffee table. It does not require VR gloves for user input; it automatically recognizes hands being moved through the display area. Often used by task force leaders to share maps with their forces and plan missions, also seen in middle-class homes as a way in which sports and wargames can be enjoyed in company without everyone needing to be hooked in.
G-Logic Reality - N$80, 5 lbs. This wall-mounted display can make you believe you're there! Unlike the standard holotank, VR gloves are required to interact with the display. More for people who like to watch VR shows than for anyone doing serious work.
G-Logic Reality Plus - N$100, 8 lbs. Fits on most tables, provides a full interface without the need for a VR glove. Display table sold separately.
Eagle Security Holotank - N$150, 20 lbs. This holotank unfolds from an easily carried 1.5' white block of plastic (emblazoned with the Eagle Security logo) into a 6x6' surface with inner locking metal rods for reinforcement, with a high resolution display and true color correction under all light conditions. Supports VR-gloveless interface.
Crystal World View - N$500. This room-based installation takes holographic displays to the next level by hiding projectors in each corner of the room and using liquid crystal wallpaper for a background. VR gloves, leg wraps, and headband are provided for optimum recognition of users and to provide basic tactile feedback when interacting with "virtual objects", but the system's scanners will do a good job on their own. You'll believe you're really in another world!

PDA - N$100. A portable computer small enough to fit in a purse or wear like a wristwatch. Touchscreen and voice interface. Counts as a Green 4 system for hacking purposes. Weighs 0.5 lb.
G-Logic Micro - N$80, 0.5 lbs. This PDA is small enough to wear as an earring or a necklace! Available in a range of designer patterns, voice command interface or simple touchscreen. However, due to the "easy to use" interface and idiot-proof software, it counts as -1 to Hack rolls should a Hacker attempt to use it as such.
Crystal Bracer - N$100, 1 lb. A standard wrist-mounted PDA, this includes a small aimed videocamera, terabytes of storage, touchscreen and voice interface, and a neural jack. Police officers often use a customized version of such a PDA for in-the-field recording of incidents.
K-9 Storm Collar - N$125, 1.5 lb. For the pet on the go, this is an adjustable collar-mounted PDA which has a GPS locator, microphone, omnidirectional camera (low resolution), terabytes of storage, voice command capability, and a small holographic projector. Electroplated in your choice of silver, gold, black or blue, it's highly durable and repels stains and mud.
Shock Collar - additional N$50, 0.5lb. When your pet is a touch unruly, the Shock Collar reminds them who's the boss! The remote control interface administers a shock (2d6+1 electrical, nonlethal), and can be configured to do so when your pet gets too close to you or a fence with built-in emitter.

Portable Cyberdeck - N$300. A Green 6 Cyberdeck the size of a small modern laptop! Touchscreen, voice interface, and Neural Jack connector. Weighs 8 lbs.
Advanced Portable Cyberdeck - N$1500. A Red 6 Cyberdeck the size of a large modern laptop. It projects a small holographic display/interface without need for a VR glove and has a Neural Jack connector. Weighs 10 lbs.

VR Headset - N$100. A neural interface which provides similar functionality to the Neural Jack but is fairly bulky - think motorcycle helmet plus a toaster-sized box with a Neural Jack connector. Designer colors and patterns available. Popular with VR world afficionados but can be used to Hack without the Neural Jack implant. Weighs 2 lbs.

VR Goggles - N$50. These are wraparound sunglasses with see-through video screens in each lens. They communicate with your PDA wirelessly so you can put the overlay of your choice on, modify what you see, or even play a VR game while waiting on the Skybus! The interface is drastically inferior to a real headset or neural jack connection, but better than nothing. Weighs 1 lb.

Clothes

Jumpsuit - N$200. The basic jumpsuit is tough (armor 1 to torso, 50% protection to arms and legs) but flexible, and comes in a variety of designer colors and patterns.
Liquid Display - +N$100. Allows you to customize the display to whatever you like.
Stealth Program - +N$100. Enables a camoflauge pattern using light pickups embedded into the fabric. +1 to Stealth rolls.
Full Body Protection - +N$100. Allows you to unroll the sleeves to cover hands and feet, and a hood normally tucked in the back to cover the head.

Weapons

Most of the Savage Worlds weapons are available - not with the same names, but you may expect, for example, a guard to be carrying an assault rifle comparable to an M-16 except that it uses a small mass driver rather than explosive cartridges that contribute to the greenhouse gas problem.

NOTE: when purchasing ammo, you're buying additional ammo clips that you can use within a battle. As long as you have access to a base or vehicle where you could plausibly have stored replacements, you won't need to buy additional ammo.

While standard bullets can be gotten nearly anywhere, you will need some pull with the police, corporate security forces, or visit a weapons dealer to get non-standard bullets. All bullets are standardized to fit all guns.

Bolts are classed as heavy weapons, so you will need some pull with the police, corporate security forces, or visit a weapons dealer to get bolts of any kind. All bolts are standardized to fit all bolt launchers. Bolts can be adapted as hand grenades with a Repair roll.

Laser weapons and flamethrowers are available, but for those desiring nonlethal crowd control:

Vehicles

Most civilians don't need personal vehicles; they take public transportation or call for a taxi to pick them up. Having your own vehicle is a status symbol, even a humble one.

Basic Pass - N$100. A monthly purchase, allows you to call a taxi or skybus to get you to another location within North Bend's Towers and fortified suburbs. The skybus should arrive in about 5 minutes, and usual travel time is 15-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Travel Pass - N$250. More expensive but includes destinations in the greater New York area, as long as they have a Skybus terminal.

Pet Pass - N$50. If you have a large pet which does not fit in your lap, your pet may need one to travel with you.

Ground vehicles are available but have a lot of problems compared to the standard air vehicles: since most traffic now is by air, roads are often obstructed or poorly maintained, and it takes a lot longer to get somewhere by ground than by air. In addition, travel outside the fortified suburbs takes you through the Dregs - imagine a post-apocalyptic wasteland, with gun-toting punks. If you travel by ground, be prepared for traps and ambushes.

You may purchase Used Vehicles for 50% of the base cost. However, such vehicles are of poor quality, -1 to Driving rolls. A High Performance Vehicle costs 150% of the base cost and gives +1 to Driving rolls.

Scooter - N$1000. Acceleration 16/top speed 32. Toughness 8 (2 Armor), but not fully enclosed, driver may be attacked separately. Carries driver only.

Racing Hoverbike - N$1500. Acceleration 30/top speed 60. Toughness 8 (2 Armor), but not fully enclosed, driver may be attacked separately. Carries driver only.

Hoverbike - N$2000. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 8 (2 Armor), but not fully enclosed, driver and passenger may be attacked separately. Carries driver and passenger.

Honda FuzoCompact Aircar - N$3000. Acceleration 10/top speed 40. Toughness 10 (3 Armor). Carries up to 3 people, or 2 people plus their luggage.

Standard Aircar - N$4000. Acceleration 10/top speed 40. Toughness 10 (3 Armor). Carries up to 4 people plus their luggage.

Luxury Aircar - N$10K. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 12 (3 Armor). Carries up to 8 people. This type is often used by corporations to fly their executives about in comfort. (+50% base cost, grants +2 Persuasion circumstance bonus)

Skybus - N$50K. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 14 (4 Armor). Carries up to 40 people.

V-12 VTOL Valkyrie Gunship - military. Acceleration 25/top speed 60. Toughness 16 (4 Armor). Carries up to 8 people. Requires Piloting skill rather than Driving.

Robots

Robots are classed as 'Creatures'. For Hacking purposes, if a hacker is crazy enough to try using a robot as a computer from which to hack another computer, they are counted as Green 4 (if d4 Smarts) or Green 6 (if d6 Smarts).

Robot Pet - N$100. Not normally capable of carrying anything of consequence, but may have hands capable of manipulating things. d4-2 Strength, d6 Agility, d4 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d4 Vigor, Toughness 2, Notice d4. Small (Size -2, -1 to be hit by humans). Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance. Normally controlled by voice commands or from a computer such as a pad being carried by the user, but may be controlled with the Wireless interface.
Advanced Robot Pet - N$200. You may add two Advances to a standard Robot Pet.

Utility Robot - N$500. Nonhumanoid model, usually squat and shaped like a garbage can on wheels. Has arms, usually equipped with specific purpose tools but at least one will be a general purpose manipulator. d4 Strength, d4 Agility, d4 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d6 Vigor, Toughness 6 (1 Armor), Notice d4. Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance and Dalek Minor Hindrance (stairs reduce it to half movement). Normally controlled by voice commands or from a computer, but may be controlled with the Wireless interface.
