Computers

Computer - widely available and cheap, N$50-100. Cheaper models have flatscreens that are simple sheets of plastic which can be attached to the wall, desk surface, or stand freely at a comfortable viewing angle. Expensive ones have holographic displays. Most support voice, keyboard, trackball, and VR glove interfaces. For hacking purposes, counts as a Green 4 system, but neural jacks are available only on the higher end models. A hacker forced to use one of these would be at -2 Hacking due to the less responsive interface, but a hacker with a Wireless connection can use the computer for Hacking with no penalty.

Cyberdeck - used by hackers to infiltrate target computers. They are meant to be operated by neural jacks, but most systems also provide a holographic display, keyboard and VR glove interface as a backup. Cyberdecks provide a wide array of tools which are usually dedicated toward protecting the hacker from being traced back and repelling enemy intrusion attempts, but in a pinch, can be committed to a full-out invasive probe of the target system. See Av2Hacking for more details.

Security Green Red
4 N$100 N$1000
6 N$200 N$2000
8 N$400 N$4000
10 N$800 N$8000
12 N$1600 N$16000

Holotank - N$100. A large surface for projecting holographic displays. It does not require VR gloves for user input; it automatically recognizes hands being moved through the display area. Often used by task force leaders to share maps with their forces and plan missions, also seen in middle-class homes as a way in which sports and wargames can be enjoyed in company without everyone needing to be hooked in.

ICE - an add-on for cyberdecks. The hacker may switch this on at the beginning of a Hack attempt. It grants 1 point of Armor vs target system Security rolls, but gives a -1 penalty to Hacking. Costs 10% of the base system cost.

Pad - a portable computer, N$100. Touchscreen interface, usually includes a Neural Jack connector. Counts as a Green 4 system for hacking purposes.

VR Headset - N$100. A neural interface which provides similar functionality to the Neural Jack but is fairly bulky - think motorcycle helmet plus a toaster-sized box with a Neural Jack connector. Designer colors and patterns available. Popular with VR world afficionados.

Vehicles

Racing Hoverbike - N$2000. Acceleration 30/top speed 60. Toughness 8 (2 Armor), but not fully enclosed, driver may be attacked separately. Carries driver only.

Hoverbike - N$3000. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 8 (2 Armor), but not fully enclosed, driver and passenger may be attacked separately. Carries driver and passenger.

Compact Aircar - N$5000. Acceleration 10/top speed 40. Toughness 10 (3 Armor). Carries up to 4 people.

Luxury Aircar - N$20K. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 12 (3 Armor). Carries up to 8 people.

Skybus - N$500K. Acceleration 20/top speed 40. Toughness 14 (4 Armor). Carries up to 40 people.

Military Helicopter - N$20M. Acceleration 25/top speed 80. Toughness 16 (4 Armor). Carries up to 8 people.

Robots

Robots are classed as 'Creatures'. For Hacking purposes, if a hacker is crazy enough to try using a robot as a computer from which to hack another computer, they are counted as Green 4 (if d4 Smarts) or Green 6 (if d6 Smarts).

Robot Pet - N$100. Not normally capable of carrying anything of consequence, but may have hands capable of manipulating things. d4-2 Strength, d6 Agility, d4 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d4 Vigor, Toughness 4, Notice d4. Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance. Normally controlled by voice commands or from a computer such as a pad being carried by the user, but may be controlled with the Wireless interface.
Advanced Robot Pet - N$200. You may add two Advances to a standard Robot Pet.

Utility Robot - N$200. Nonhumanoid model, usually squat and shaped like a garbage can on wheels. Has arms, usually equipped with specific purpose tools but at least one will be a general purpose manipulator. d4 Strength, d4 Agility, d4 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d6 Vigor, Toughness 5, Notice d4. Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance. Normally controlled by voice commands or from a computer, but may be controlled with the Wireless interface.

Humanoid Robot - N$400. Humanoid model, normally 5' and metallic skinned. It would cost significantly more to try to disguise a robot to appear human. d6 Strength, d4 Agility, d6 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d6 Vigor, Toughness 5, Notice d6. Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance. Normally controlled by voice commands or from a computer, but may be controlled with the Wireless interface. These are often found as receptionists, waitstaff for restaurants, and so forth.

Military Robot - N$100K. Bipedal robot with an M2 Browning-type machine gun mounted on one arm. (2d10, AP4, 50/100/200 range, 3 RoF, fed by a drum - 1000 rounds capacity) The other arm functions as a normal manipulator. d10 Strength, d6 Agility, d6 Smarts, d4 Spirit, d10 Vigor, Toughness 16 (4 Armor), Notice d6. Large (size 4, +2 to hit by humans). Fearless, immune to disease and poison. Has the AI Minor Hindrance. Counts as a Red 6 system when attempting to hack into or from one.
